Cross-Currency Payments Utilizing Pathfinding

Xumm 2.4.0 introduces “pathfinding payments,” allowing users to pay with a variety of tokens available on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), enabling cross-currency payments at the best rates possible.

Pathfinding payments allow you to pay with any asset while the beneficiary receives the currency they request. Pathfinding helps streamline transactions making them more convenient.

With this update, Xumm gives you greater control over your payments and allows for more flexibility in your transactions.

One of the most significant updates is the ability for developers to send sign requests with the added pathfinding option, allowing users to pay with other assets.

Improved Encryption

A significant update is that we have improved our encryption algorithms, ensuring your account is safer than ever. Your security is the top priority at Xumm, and these enhancements are just one of the ways we're working to keep your assets even safer.

Revoke Third-party Push Notifications

Another improvement is the ability to revoke push notifications from third-party sites and xApps. You'll have peace of mind knowing that you can easily revoke any push permissions granted in the past.

Visual Improvements on Xumm

If you're a fan of NFTs, you'll be thrilled to know that Xumm now allows you to view all of your NFTs on the home screen. Users can also view their buy and sell NFT orders, giving them additional control over their NFT transactions.

Xumm now offers the ability to toggle between showing your XRP balance in fiat or XRP.

Small Improvements

In addition to all of the above, we have also made a bunch of small behind-the-scenes improvements that help with efficiency and usability, making Xumm even more convenient to use for everyday transactions.

Two examples:

When opening Xumm from the background, the Event List will automatically refresh, showing new sign requests immediately.

When signing a non-XRP token transaction, the app now checks if the issuer has frozen your Trust Line and will prompt you to contact the issuer if necessary.

Small UI improvements include a better-looking font on the Xumm home screen and many more.
