The owner and founder of 36aWay, Akin Sariyildiz, said he got really excited when Xumm introduced him to receiving crypto payments in his shop. "I like the part where there's no banking involved to use this innovative and secure payment method. Now we are set for the future of payments, and we hope we have enabled other shops to do the same!"
FriiPay integrates the XRPL into traditional mainstream POS bringing non-cryptocurrency consumers into the world of cryptocurrency payments. Consumers can use any cryptocurrency held on their XUMM wallet to make payments using the system. The terminal supports both Xumm + XRPL and traditional such as Visa and Mastercard payment rails, meaning that retailers get the best of both worlds and the freedom to choose.

In a Discord AMA with XRP Ledger Developers, FriiPay CEO Farhaan Dawood stated: "Brands will be able to push digital coupons that will be visible in the Xumm wallet and will be validated using POS application and the ledger. This strategy will allow us to bring non-cryptocurrency consumers into our world".
